Tuberculous Brain Abscess

 Tuberculous brain abscess (TBA) may be a rare but serious condition. It resembles a pyogenic brain abscess clinically and radiologically and poses a drag in diagnosis and treatment. A last conclusion is set up by smear or culture exhibit of corrosive quick bacilli (AFB) inside the sore.  Central systema nervosum tuberculosis constitutes approximately 10% of additional consumption and presents mainly as meningitis, tuberculoma of brain or medulla spinalis and tubercular abscess. With the advent of human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS), more cases are being diagnosed, but very few have been reported in immunocompetent HIV negative patients. High list of doubt and opportune intercession is required to analyze and treat this expected deadly yet effectively treatable condition.
