Immunogenic Reaction

 Immunogenicity is that the ability of a far off substance, like an antigen, to impress an immune reaction within the body of a person's or other animal. In other words, immunogenicity is that the ability to induce a humoral and/or cell-mediated immune responses. Immunogens are molecules that provoke an immune reaction . Immuno-gen makes immune response . However, immune responses are fairly common: simple inflammation is really an immune response . Thus all antigens, who must be ready to induce antibody formation, must be immunogens. To increase the immunogenicity of DNA immunization using HIV and/or SIV antigens, genes encoding several cytokines56–59 were used. Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) related to DNA vaccines recruits dendritic cells to the location of vaccination and increases antigen presentation
