Oral Implantology Review Articles

Oral implantology may be a common procedure in dentistry, especially for fully or partially edentulous patients. The implants must be placed within the best location from both the aesthetic and functional point of view. Due to this it's increasingly more frequent to resort to regeneration techniques that use substitutes of the bone itself, so as to be ready to insert the implants within the most appropriate location. The utilization of oral integrated implants within the rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system is an increasingly more frequent procedure with a really predictable prognosis. However, the success of this system isn't the mere achievement of the osseointegration of the implant within the osseous bed. The last word goal must be the restitution of the missing teeth, through the location of implants in anatomically appropriate positions so as to realize an honest aesthetic and functional end in the future. This result will depend, in large measure, on the quantity of alveolar bone remaining. The loss of volume that the gum ridge experiences will vary counting on the time elapsed since the loss of the teeth, the explanation for such loss, the previous treatments that were administered , also because the patients' intercurrent system factors. A review is a piece of writing that summarizes the present state of understanding on a subject. A review surveys and summarizes previously published studies, instead of reporting new facts or analysis. Review articles are sometimes also called survey articles or, in news publishing, overview articles. Academic publications that concentrate on review articles are referred to as review journals.
