      Oceanography is that the study of the physical, chemical, and biological features of the ocean, including the ocean's ancient history, its current condition, and its future . Oceanography covers a good range of topics, including marine life and ecosystems, ocean circulation, tectonics and therefore the geology of the seafloor, and therefore the chemical and physical properties of the ocean. Traditionally, oceanography has been divided into four separate but related branches: physical oceanography, chemical oceanography, marine geology, and marine ecology. Field of Oceanography is best career option for the people having interest within the study of ocean and its surrounding environment. 5 branches of oceanography Includes Marine biology or biological oceanography. the study of the plants and animals ( biota) of the oceans and their ecological interaction, Chemical oceanography. the study of the chemistry of the ocean, Marine geology or geological oceanography, Physical oceanography. Oceanography today uses mathematical equations to explain fundamental ocean processes and requires mathematical theories to know their implications. Researchers use statistics and signal processing to weave together the many separate strands of data from sonar buoys, shipboard instruments, and satellites. Oceanographers study water, sea life, weather and climates, which helps preserve the natural resource of oceans and coastal waters, as well as contributes to other professionals' ability to predict weather patterns, determine plate tectonics shifting and care for wildlife. Open access is a wide universal development that tries to concede free and open online access to scholarly data, for example, distributions and information. A distribution is characterized 'open access' when there are no budgetary, lawful or specialized boundaries to getting to it - in other words when anybody can peruse, download, duplicate, disperse, print, look for and search inside the data, or use it in instruction or in some other path inside the legitimate understandings.
