Molecular Imaging Impact Factor

 Molecular imaging is a field of medical imaging that focuses on imaging molecules of medical interest within living patients. This is in contrast to conventional methods for obtaining molecular information from preserved tissue samples, such as histology. Ultimately it leads to the follow-up of the molecular process in living organisms without perturbing. Molecular imaging has enabled the noninvasive characterization and quantification of biological processes at the cellular levels in intact living subjects. This technology has revolutionized the practice of medicine. New advances in research on molecular imaging hold promise for personalized medicine in neuropsychiatric disorders, with early diagnosis, predictable responses, adjusted therapeutic doses, reduced adverse drug reactions and personal health planning.
