Common Flat Feet causes include:  Genetic influences, like flat feet in the genes will pass from parents to children Poor arches, meaning that the arch is visible when a person sits but the foot flattens to the ground when they are suffering from foot or ankle injury, arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis damage, weakness or rupture of the posterior tibial nervous system or muscle disorders such as cerebral palsy, muscle dystrophy or spina bifida. Factors which could increase your flatfeet risk include: Obesity, foot or ankle injury, Rheumatoid arthritis, aging, diabetes.
