Bone Marrow Edema High Impact Factor Journals

An edema may be a buildup of fluid. A bone marrow edema — often mentioned as bone marrow lesion — occurs when fluid builds up within the bone marrow. Bone marrow edema is usually a response to an injury like a fracture or conditions like osteoarthritis. Bone marrow edema usually resolves itself with rest and physiotherapy. Bone marrow edemas are typically found with an MRI or ultrasound. They can’t be seen on X-rays or CT scans.
