Synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial screening of3-(1Hbenzo[ d]imidazol-2-ylsulfanyl)methyl-4-[phenoxy(phenyl)acetamido)-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole and related aryloxy compounds

These compounds were screened for antibacterial and antifungal activity. The antibacterial activities were compared against chlorophenicol and antifungal activity with mycostalin. Some triazole derivatives showed positive antibacterial and antifungal activity.
