Radiation Science

Radiation is the energy that travels between waves (electromagnetic radiation) or particles of high speed (radiation). Dissociating radiation occurs when an unstable atom (or radiation) breaks down. Electromagnetic (EM) radiation, on the other hand, is lightweight and travels in waves. EM radiation can range from very low to very high, and we call this span. Within the EM display, there are two types of radiation - ionizing and non-ionizing. Say the word "radiation" to three different people, and you will probably get different reactions. Your aunt can tell you how radiation has destroyed her cancer. Your neighbour might say the "duck and cover" procedure for his days. And your comic friend will explain how gamma rays turned Bruce Banner into a Hulk.
