Neuroanesthesia is a subspecialty area of anesthesia dealing with the complex relationships of anesthetic medicines, neurochirurgical procedures, and the critical care issues surrounding these patients' management. Neuroanesthesia is essential for anesthetically controlled neurochirurgical patients, based on the understanding of the central nervous system ( CNS) physiology and pathophysiology and the effect of anesthetic agents on the CNS.
