Neck Sarcomas

Head/neck sarcomas are uncommon, representing about 1% of head/neck malignancies and 5% of sarcomas. Results have verifiably been more regrettable in this gathering, because of anatomic imperatives prompting trouble in totally extracting tumors, with high paces of neighborhood repeat. We reflectively investigated instances of head/neck delicate tissue sarcomas (STS) and osteogenic sarcomas oversaw in a multi-disciplinary setting at Fox Chase Cancer Center from 1999–2009 to depict clinicopathologic qualities, treatment, results, and prognostic variables for ailment control and endurance. Thirty patients with STS and seven patients with osteogenic sarcoma were recognized. Most STS were high evaluation (23) and practically all were restricted at introduction (28). Basic histologies were synovial cell (6), rhabdomyosarcoma (5), angiosarcoma (4), liposarcoma (4) and leiomyosarcoma (3). The kind of essential treatment and illness results were broke down.
