Lipid profile or lipid panel is a blood test panel which serves as an initial screening tool for lipid abnormalities, such as cholesterol and triglycerides. A risk factor is something that raises the odds of having a health problem. Lipid disorders are associated with bad lifestyle habits. This may originate from:   Doing not enough exercise. Exercise helps reduce bad cholesterol and raise good cholesterol. Eat foods that are rich in certain fats , cholesterol or calories. This does not eat enough nutritious foods like fish, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Smoking -Reduces good cholesterol. Alcohol-raises excess triglycerides. Certain factors which could increase the risk of lipid disorders: Some genes-Cause issues with how the body produces cholesterol and gets rid of it. Some health problems, such as: Diabetes, metabolic syndrome-blood pressure , blood glucose, and cholesterol are all superior to average when overweight. It's also an issue getting more fat around the butt. Underactive thyroid gland-It takes longer than average to get rid of cholesterol, kidney or liver disease.
