Within the testis parallel to the seminiferous tubules are located Leydig cells, also known as Leydig interstitial cells. They contain testosterone, in the presence of luteinizing hormone ( LH). Leydig cells are polyhedral in shape, with a large prominent nucleus, an eosinophilic cytoplasm and several lipid-filled vesicles.Leydig cell tumor (LCT) is an rare, but possibly malignant, testicular tumour. Approximately 3% of LCT cases are bilateral, whereas 10% are metastatic malignant, especially for inguinal lymph nodes and extranodal organs, including the liver , lungs and bones. Histologically, the tumor consists of large polygonal tumor cells proliferating with granular eosinophilic cytoplasms. LCT has a number of types of the imaging, some associated with testicular tumors. Without immunohistochemistry, it is difficult to make correct diagnosis for this purpose. The treatment for both benign and malignant LCT is surgical resection. Peer review is the work done while screening submitted manuscripts and applications for funding. It enables authors to follow agreed professional criteria and reduces the circulation of irrelevant observations, unwarranted statements, incorrect interpretations and personal opinions
