Journals On Bioactive Compounds

When a material absorbs direct effects on a living organism, it has an organic behavior. Such results may be dependent on the product, dosage or bioavailability, either adverse or beneficial. Usually the term bioactive compound or component is only linked to positive impacts on an organism. Bioactive compounds are chemicals found in small quantities in plants and in particular foods such as fruits , vegetables , nuts, oils and whole grains. Journal of bioactive compounds focuses on the fields of geo-medicine, plant science, modern pharmacology, agrochemicals, cosmetics , food, nano-bio-science etc. They have body movements which can promote good health. In plants the word "food bioactive compound" does not typically include nutrients. Bioactive plant compounds are usually produced as secondary metabolites that are not essential to the plant's daily function (such as growth), but play an important role in competition, defense, attraction, and signaling. Bioactive compounds can be specified in plants as secondary plant metabolites which cause pharmacological or toxicological effects in humans and animals.
