Epigenome Peer-review Journals

The epigenome regulates the expression of genes, the growth, the differentiation of tissues and the suppression of transposable elements. Unlike the underlying genome, which remains largely static within an organism, environmental factors can dynamically alter the epigenome. The Human Epigenome Pilot Project seeks to classify and catalog Methylation Variable Positions (MVPs) within the human genome as a prelude to a future Human Epigenome Project. Advances in sequencing technology now allow multiple molecular methodologies to assay epigenomic states across genomes. Micro and nanoscale devices were designed to investigate the epigenome, or proposed. Peer review is the work done while screening submitted manuscripts and applications for funding. It enables authors to follow agreed professional criteria and reduces the circulation of irrelevant observations, unwarranted statements, incorrect interpretations and personal opinions
