Cardiomyopathy

Cardiomyopathy is a collection of diseases that move the heart muscle. Early on there may be rare or no signs. As the disease worsens, feeling tired, shortness of breath and swelling of the legs may occur, due to the onset of heart failure. An irregular heart beat and fainting may occur. Those artificial are at an improved risk of sudden cardiac death. Types of cardiomyopathy contain hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, restrictive cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, and takotsubo cardiomyopathy (broken heart syndrome). In hypertrophic cardiomyopathy the heart muscle thickens and enlarges. In dilated cardiomyopathy the ventricles enlarge and weaken. In restrictive cardiomyopathy the ventricle stiffens.
