The 3-hydrazinylquinoxalin-2-ol (2) and 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline (3) were prepared from2,3-dihydroxyquinoxaline (4) and used as an intermediates in the syntheses of triazoloquinoxaline, imidazoquinoxaline, tetrazoloquinoxaline and piperazinoquinoxalines ring systems.
