Abstract

Synthesis of new biologically active 4-isobutylhydrotropoyl (Ibuprofen) derivatives

The synthesis of 4-isobutylhydrotropoylamino acids (12-17), dipeptide methyl ester (18-71), dipeptide (72-125) and their corresponding hydrazides (126-179) is described.All the synthesized compounds were found to be active against some of the tested micro organisms and fungi.
