The neuron is the essential working unit of the mind, a specific cell intended to transmit data to other nerve cells, muscle, or organ cells. Neurons are cells inside the sensory system that transmit data to other nerve cells, muscle, or organ cells. Most neurons have a cell body, an axon, and dendrites. A common neuron comprises of a cell body (soma), dendrites, and a solitary axon. The soma is normally smaller. The axon and dendrites are fibers that expel from it. Dendrites normally branch lavishly and broaden a couple hundred micrometers from the soma. The axon leaves the soma at a growing called the axon hillock, and goes similar to 1 meter in people or more in different species. It branches however as a rule keeps up a consistent distance across. At the farthest tip of the axon's branches are axon terminals, where the neuron can transmit a sign over the neurotransmitter to another cell. Neurons may need dendrites or have no axon. The term neurite is utilized to portray either a dendrite or an axon, especially when the cell is undifferentiated.
