Alcohol misuse in younger human beings is of growing concern, despite the fact that alcohol intake among teens has declined over current years. Many 15-year-olds have already eaten up alcohol and teenagers have a tendency to consume large portions of alcohol in a single sitting. This article describes the problem of alcohol misuse in younger human beings and the nurse's role inside the prevention and treatment of alcohol misuse on this population. A stepped care, holistic technique is recommended, deliberating peer and circle of relatives have an impact on alcohol misuse and the younger person's motivation to alternate their behaviour. The aim of the observe was to summarize results of new epidemiological research on adolescent alcohol use and its consequences, to outline the risk elements for drinking in adolescents and to keep in mind effective remedy and preventative interventions.
