Proper packaging helps maintain food quality, extend shelf life, and ensure safety during storage and transportation. Advances in packaging technologies have led to the development of innovative materials that improve functionality and sustainability. This article discusses the importance of food packaging materials and their contribution to food preservation and quality assurance.. The rising demand for clean-label and minimally processed foods has driven research into natural preservation strategies. This article discusses the role of natural preservatives in enhancing food safety, extending shelf life, and supporting sustainable food production.
