Virtual Engineering Uses is The Advanced LIGO gravitational wave detectors are a good way to replace the existing provisional LIGO detectors from current age instruments. They are currently being built and installed. Advanced LIGO pressure sensitivity is designed to be about 10 higher than initial LIGO over a wide band and usable up to 10 Hz, in initial LIGO evaluation up to 40 Hz. This is expected to allow for detections and widespread astrophysics in most gravitational wave categories. All hardware subsystems are being changed with improvements to attain this sensitivity. The seismic isolation, suspensions, optics and laser subsystems are provided with designs and anticipated results.
