Rice Paddy

Paddy can be a saturated area with arable land used for growing indoor crops, especially rice and taro. It comes from the Neolithic culture of rice cultivation in the Chang Jiang lake in southern China, related to pre-Austronesian and Hmong-Mien cultures. It was transmitted in pre-Austronesian times to the Southeast Asian Islands, Madagascar, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. The technology was also acquired by other Asian continental traditions of rice cultivation, spreading to East Asia, Southland Southeast Asia, and South Asia. They may require excellent work of labor and materials, and desire a large amount of irrigation water. Oxen and oxide oxides, which are allowed at all times in wetlands, are the most useful animals used in paddy cultivation.
