 Cytokine is a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering the study of cytokines as they relate to multiple disciplines, including molecular biology, immunology, and genetics. It was established in 1989 and is published by Elsevier. It is the official journal of the International Cytokine & Interferon Society. The main function of cytokines is that help in signaling molecules that mediate and regulate immunity, inflammation and hematopoiesis. Cytokines are a large group of proteins, peptides or glycoproteins that are secreted by specific cells of immune system. Cytokine medical aid has well-tried to be a unique therapeutic approach in treating patients with advanced malignancies. The aim of this sort of medical aid is to control the response in such how on generate the acceptable immune effector cells to eradicate solid tumors.
