The testes are carried in an external pouch referred to as the scrotum, where they normally remain slightly cooler than blood heat to facilitate sperm production. The external structures of the feminine genital system include the clittestes, epididymisoris, labium, labium and Bartholin's glands, consistent with the Cleveland Clinic. the main internal organs of the feminine genital system include the vagina and uterus which act because of the receptacle for semen and therefore the ovaries, which produce the female's ova.
