Play And Creative Therapies

Creative interventions have been formalized via the disciplines of art therapy, music therapy, dance/movement remedy, drama therapy or psychodrama, poetry therapy, and play therapy, consisting of sand tray remedy. Each field has been carried out in psychotherapy and counselling with people of all ages, particularly youngsters, for more than 70 years. Art, music, dance, drama, and poetry treatment plans are referred to as “creative arts treatment plans” due to their roots inside the arts and theories of creativity. These remedies and others that make use of self-expression in remedy also are called “expressive cures “It’s a way of working with children who're experiencing emotional distress which can have an effect on the way they develop, behave and characteristic in ordinary life. Play Therapy is a system that facilitates a child talk their thoughts, emotions, and behaviour through play.
