Law-uses

 The rule of law is a meta-legal principle. Similar to law theory, it provides a benchmark against which laws are often evaluated. From this attitude , law is about the invention of the principles of just conduct. Laws and legislation exist to maintain order and protect the citizens. Rules that aren't written down don't exist. Without law there is anarchy. Legislation should clearly define our rights as citizens and protect us from each other. Good law is that the concept in jurisprudence that a legal decision remains valid or holds legal weight. A good law decision  rendered obsolete or has not been overturned.
