 Anorexia is characterised by a distorted body image, with an unwarranted fear of being overweight. To preclude weight gain or to endure losing weight, people with anorexia usually severely restrict the amount of food they eat. Although there are no lab tests to exactly diagnose anorexia, the doctor might use numerous diagnostic tests as well as to evaluate the effects of the weight loss on the body's organs. Anorexia isn't really about food. It's an extremely unhealthy and sometimes life-threatening way to try to cope with emotional problems with Anorexia.
