Anastomotic-leak-online-journals.php

Anastomotic leaks are described as 'a leak from a surgical join' of luminal contents. They are the most important complication to recognize after gastrointestinal surgery. It is important to diagnose, resuscitate and treat an anastomotic leak early. Delay leads to prolonged luminal infection of the abdomen or lungs, leading to serious sepsis and progression to multi-organ failure and death. Anastomotic leakage is a major concern in obese patients as they may encounter further intraoperative technical complications, comorbidities, and secondary neoadjuvant chemoradiation (NCRT) cure delays). However, no significant differences between obese and non-obese patients were reported in the majority of studies included in this review that assessed this concern in CRC or only rectal cancer. Digital Journals are publications which are reviewed by academics and peers. The journals provide forum and motivates scientists, scholars, educators, engineers, and professionals in all respects to share their professional and academic knowledge in the fields computing, engineering, humanities, economics , social sciences, management , medical science , and related disciplines.
