Low energy electron collision with interstellar gas molecules H2O, H2S and HCN

In this work, we present a theoretical study on electron collision with interstellar gas molecules in the low energy range, we report, the rotational excitation total and momentum transfer cross sections are calculated for electron collisionwith interstellar gasmoleculesH2O,H2S andHCNin the lowenergy range (0.5 to 16.5 eV.).TheBorn Eikonal Series Approximation method and the hard sphere dipole interaction potential model are employed to present electron-molecule interaction. The results obtained are compared with experiment and theoretical data available in the literature.
