Xenotransplantation Scholarly Peer-review Journal
Xenotransplantation involves the transplantation of nonhuman tissues or organs into human recipients. Xenotransplantation refers to any procedure that involves the transplantation, implantation, or infusion into a human recipient of either live cells, tissues, or organs from a nonhuman animal source or human body fluids, cells, tissues, or organs that have had ex vivo contact with live nonhuman animal cells, tissues, or organs. Xenotransplantation products include those from transgenic or nontransgenic nonhuman animals and composite products that contain xenotransplantation products in combination with drugs or devices. Xenograft is An organ or tissue procured from a different species for transplantation into a human. Transplantation of an animal organ into a human.
