Religion And Spirituality In Children And Adolescents

Religion and Spirituality in youngsters and Adolescents introduces the interface between kid and adolescent psychopathology and faith and spirituality. biological process psychopathology has become progressively various in its study of risk and protecting factors for kid and adolescent psychopathology. The result of faith and spirituality on clinical conditions is among those factors. This review addresses (1) historical aspects of the link between psychopathology and religion/spirituality, (2) definitional problems, and (3) distinctive factors in kid and adolescent work. Considering these factors and a few general principles of intervention, it prepares the reader for different articles during this issue. The article concludes with some observations on the "secular family".
