 Separation methods are those techniques that can be used to distinct two different states of matter such as solid and liquids. Such separation techniques include filtration or evaporation. Separation method, or a separation process, or simply a separation, is a practice to influence any mass transfer phenomenon that variations a mixture of substances into two or more distinct product mixtures. With a little exceptions, elements or compounds exist in nature in an impure state. Frequently these raw materials must go through a separation before they can be put to productive use, making separation methods vital for the contemporary industrial economy.
