Gastrointestine

The gastrointestinal tract is an organ system within humans and other animals which takes in food, digests it to extract and absorb energy and nutrients, and expels the remaining waste as feces. The mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestines are part of the gastrointestinal tract. The alimentary canal is an organ system within humans and other animals which takes in food, digests it to extract and absorb energy and nutrients, and expels the remaining waste as Feces . The mouth, Esophagus , stomach and intestines are a part of the alimentary Canal . The primary purpose of the alimentary canal is to interrupt food down into nutrients, which may be absorbed into the body to supply energy. First food must be ingested into the mouth to be mechanically processed and moistened. Bloating & Excess Gas. Bloating might be a symbol of several GI disorders, like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), or food intolerance like disorder.
