Family Care is a Medicaid long-term care program for frail elders, and adults with physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities. A family provides its individual members with key resources for healthful living, including food, clothing, shelter, a sense of self-worth, and access to medical care. Even though you cannot change your genetic makeup, knowing your family history can help you reduce your risk of developing health problems.
