Clinical Biomarkers Journals

 Early detection and differential diagnosis of a disease is a significant challenge. Asymptomatic disease present in an unknown location in the body has to be identified precisely, inexpensively, and quickly. Only a few types of clinical biomarkers can accomplish this task, including epigenetic biomarkers based on Methylation of cell-free circulating DNA in blood. In this presentation an overview of a novel technology for genome-wide detection of DNA methylation in ultra-small samples, MethDet, will be presented alongside with results of the proof-of-principle platform for identification of abnormal DNA methylation patterns in each sample. A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record.
