Ankle Arthritis Journals

Ankle arthritis is a clinical condition in which cartilage has been damaged or worn out by the joint which connects the foot to the leg, known as the tibiotalar or ankle joint. This joint involves 3 bones: the tibia, the fibula, and the talus. Arthritis can include some of those bones or all of them. Arthritis features pain and swelling. The ankle is far less likely than the hip or knee to be involved with arthritis. More often the knee is implicated in osteoarthritis. However the ankle is affected by arthritis. Inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis is probably involved. Arthritis that happens following injury is also frequently involved Related Journals of Arthritis Journal of Clinical & Experimental Orthopaedics, Clinical Research on Foot & Ankle, Osteoarthritis,Orthopedic & Muscular System: Current Research, Arthritis and Rheumatism, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, Arthritis Care and Research, Arthritis Research and Therapy, Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism, Open Arthritis Journal
