Alstonia scholaris, generally called slate tree or devil's tree in English, is an evergreen tropical tree in the family Apocynaceae. It is local to southern China, tropical Asia and Australasia. The dust of some trees including 'Peltophorum' and 'Alstonia Scholaris' cause wellbeing hazards.
