Synthesis of β-Amino Carbonyl Compounds and 5-Unsubstituted 3, 4-Dihydropyrimidinones using Solid Supported Co(ClO4)2 Under Solvent Free Condition

It was found to be an efficient, recyclable and heterogeneous catalyst for synthesis of both 5-unsubstituted 3, 4-dihydropyrimidinones and β-amino carbonyl compounds under solvent free condition. The simple procedure, high yield of desired products and solvent free reaction condition making it environment benign are important aspects of this protocol
