Influence of different media, PH and temperature on growth and penitrem A production by Penicilium puberulum was investigated. The toxin production was analyzed by thin layer chromatography method. Among different media studied, SMKY and Yeast extract sucrose media, PH of 6.5 and temperature 30ï‚°C was found to be optimumfor maximumproduction of penitremA.
