Comparative analysis of natural sample and synthesis of silver nanoparticles (NPs) using medical plant caesalpinia bonducella seed

Nanostructured noblemetal has unusual physicochemical properties compared to their bulk parent materials. Thus in recent years a number of physical, chemical and biological techniques were applied for the development of metal nanoparticles (NPs). Here we have silver nanoparticles were synthesized using rapid, single step and completely green biosynthetic method employing aqueous Caesalpinia bonducella seeds. Silver ions were rapidly reduced by the aqueous Caesalpinia bonducella seed seeds leading to the formation of highly crystalline silver nanoparticles. The preparation of stable, uniform silver nanoparticles by reduction of silver ions is reported in the present paper. It is a simple process of recent interest for obtaining silver nanoparticles. The samples have been characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy, UV-Visible spectra, Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectra of themedicinal plantsCaesalpinia Bonducella Seeds were recorded. The vibrational assignments, intensities and wave number (cm–1) of dominant peak were obtained from FTIR spectra. Probable assignments of the bands were made with respect to the components present in the samples. The microphotograph obtained fromSEMand weight percentage of specific elemental concentration obtained fromEDX spectrometer attached to SEM are reported and analyzed sample wise and the results are discussed. The UV/Vis spectra shows that an absorption peak, occurring due to Surface Plasma Resonance (SPR).
