 Biomarkers Journal is extremely important Journal to enhance and progress precision medicine especially in cancer treatment. Biomarkers are referred to measurable indicator of some biologic condition or severity of disease state. They are useful in a number of ways, including measuring the progress of disease, evaluating the most effective therapeutic regimens. A "biomarker" (biological marker) is an indicator of a bodily process which will be objectively measured. A wide range of possible biomarkers for IBS are considered but at the present only gut, transit measured using radio-isotope markers meet the standards of reproducibility and availability. While barostat studies perform reasonably in expert centers, to do them reproducibly requires considerable effort and standardization. This makes them unsuitable for widespread use. However radio-isotope tests are expensive and of limited availability therefore the look for other more convenient markers including blood and stool tests remains a crucial goal for the longer term .
