Streptomyces Coelicolor Impact Factor

Streptomyces coelicolor is a dirt dwelling Gram-positive bacterium that has a place with the class Streptomyces. Streptomyces are non-motile, saprophytic Gram-positive prokaryotes that are significant as business makers of anti-toxins. They have an enormous (somewhere in the range of 6 and 10 Mb) direct chromosome. Development is by hyphal tip augmentation and stretching, with resulting erection of sporulating airborne hyphae.
