High Impact Phylogenetics Journals

Phylogenetic research reveals the developmental relations between groups of living forms or groups of similar nucleic acids or protein sequences. Phylogenetic relations between genes may help to determine which genes may have comparative functions. Evolutionary background derived from phylogenetic analysis is usually represented as branching, tree-like diagrams reflecting an approximate pedigree of hereditary relationships between molecules ('gene trees'), species, or both. Phylogenetics is sometimes referred to as cladistics because the word 'clade,' a set of descendants of a single ancestor, is derived from the Greek word for branch. The Phylogenetics Uses mission provides a forum to publish new findings on chemistry and physics. At present, our primary research objective is to encourage and assist the development of better and faster measures of scientific activity. In cases where we believe that we can make a direct contribution, as opposed to highlighting the work of others, we are producing our own measures of scientific activity. Our work is of particular interest to investors, organizations and individuals in the science sector and to major corporations with global operations, as well as to governments and academic researchers.
