Health-Tourism

Health Tourism (also called as Medical tourism) refers to the act of traveling to a far off country so as to receive medical aid . Health tourism plays a serious role when certain medical services aren't available in their country of residence, their insurance doesn't cover the complete cost of a procedure, Wait lines are too long, Quality of care is better in a different country, and costs are lower in a different country. Review articles are the summary of current state of understanding on a specific research topic. They analyse or discuss research previously published by scientist and academicians instead of reporting novel research results. Review article comes within the sort of systematic reviews and literature reviews and are a sort of secondary literature. In 2007, over half a million Americans travelled abroad to receive medical treatment and since 2003, 1.29 million Britons aged 16 to 64 had dental treatment outside the UK because it was more economical1. These are not isolated trends. Every year, increasing number of patients from around the globe seek healthcare abroad either for economic reasons or to find better quality treatment and overcome long waiting lists. The picture that emerges is of increasing mobile patients with greater choices of where to receive quality treatment at competitive prices.
