Cryolipolysis is a cold-induced inflammatory mechanism gradually reduced fat thickness in 90 days after a 30- to 60 minute cold plate exposure to the skin surface. In vitro analysis of the adipocyte response to cold showed that cooling adipocytes to temperatures above freezing but below normal body temperature resulted in apoptosis mediating cell death, indicating that apoptotic injury in adipose tissue was triggered by cryolipolysis. In addition, the subsequent inflammatory response can cause additional damage to those adipocytes not immediately affected by cold exposure. Articles in scientific journals are often utilized in research and better education. Scientific articles allow researchers to stay up so far with the developments of their field and direct their own research. For scientific journals, reproducibility and replicability of the scientific results are core concepts that enable other scientists to check and reproduce the results under the same conditions as described in the paper or at least similar conditions and produce similar results with similar measurements of the same measure and or carried out under changed conditions of measurement.
