Cataract Journals
A cataract is a clouding of the lens inside the eye which results in reduced vision. They are going to have an effect on one or both eyes. They normally grow gradually. Symptoms may include light colors, hazy vision, light halos, difficulty with bright lights, and trouble seeing at dark hours.
The cataracts can be surgically treated. Phacoemulsification is the most common method in cataract surgery. The other techniques are posterior capsulotomy, implantation of the intraocular lens (IOL) etc.
