 Phylogenetics and Evolutionary Biology are areas for the study of evolutionary relationships between groups of species and computer modeling methods for the study of biological, behavioral and social systems. Journal of Phylogenetics is an open-access journal that publishes the latest perspectives and new discoveries in peer-reviewed scientific communications on all important and core subjects of evolutionary science, such as evolutionary genetics, structural and functional innovations, and mutagenic and inheritable changes in species over time. The journal focuses primarily on work documenting evidence of evolution in paleontological comparison, homology and embryology, with a particular emphasis on molecular phylogeny. The paleontological comparison journal supports research and reporting on current problems in understanding biological change, and discusses recent developments in evolutionary biology research activities.
