Aquatic Plants Farming Journals

Aquatic plants are Farming s that have adapted to living in aquatic environments (saltwater or freshwater). They are also mentioned as hydrophytes or macrophytes to differentiate them from algae and other microphytes. A macrophyte may be a plant that grows in or near water and is emergent, submerging, or floating. Many small aquatic animals use plants like duckweed for a home, or for cover from predators. Some other familiar samples of aquatic plants might include floating heart, aquatic plant, lotus, and water orchid. Aquatic plants are often divided into four groups: algae, floating plants, submerged plants and emergent plants. Younger kids, however, are probably happier learning to select out a representative of those four sorts of water plants without necessarily remembering the names of the categories to which they belong.
