Acute And Refractory Asthma Journals

Acute conditions are severe and sudden in onset. A chronic condition, against this may be a long-developing syndrome, like osteoporosis or asthma. An acute asthma occurs within the midst of the chronic disease of asthma. Asthma patients are considered refractory once they experience persistent symptoms, frequent asthma attacks or low lung function despite taking asthma medications. Some refractory asthma patients need to take oral steroids like prednisone to manage their asthma. Publishing clinical research on a spread of topics including asthma management, critical and long-term care, preventative measures, environmental counselling, and patient education. Severe or refractory asthma isn't uniform within the literature; hence it's difficult to estimate truth disease prevalence. Most asthma is mild to moderate and may be controlled by minimal medication which include inhaled β–agonists and inhaled corticosteroids.
